GASEK’s CHP (Combined Heat and Power) plant is a combined unit for generating electricity and heat, which is well suited, for instance, for small and medium sized businesses as well as for energy generation in remote communities. We deliver our power plants on the turn-key basis.
GASEK power plants are fuelled with mixed wood chips, which are gasified in the plant’s gasification units. As a result of the high combustion temperature and controlled combustion process the life span of the power plant is long, inasmuch as no tar or other hazardous by-products are created in the process. Furthermore, any emissions are particle-free and virtually non-existent.
The power plant can be used, for instance, for generating electricity and heat for farms, greenhouses, sawmills or workshops.

Technical information
GASEK’s CHP plant is built in a container, which can be easily relocated from one place to another. To function, the power plant needs just heat and electrical connections, as well as a connection to the local water supply network. Furthermore, the foundation must be protected against ground frost. Currently the power plant’s electric capacity is 50 kW and heat capacity is 100 kW. We are currently in the process of developing 0.5−1 MW power plants for our production range.
Power plants are delivered after testing and trial running, ready to be connected to the power and heating network, according to the delivery contract. Customers are provided necessary on-site training for operating a CHP. GASEK grants a one-year warranty to its power plants.
